BURMESE ARRESTED

Special Branch and Immigration police arrested 16 Burmese activists
at various places in Bangkok on Thursday.

The activists, who were detained at the Immigration Detention
Center [on Soi Suan Phlu], are alleged to be working against the
Rangoon government.
