BURMESE GENERALS HEAD FOR BANGKOK

A high-ranking Burmese military delegation left Rangoon yesterday
to attend talks on border affairs with their Thai counterparts,
state-run Radio Rangoon reported in a dispatch monitored here.

The 22-member delegation was headed by two senior Burmese military
officials, Eastern Army Division Commander LT. GEN Saw Tun and
South Eastern Army Region Commander LT. GEN Ket Sein, the report
said.

The report did not mention how long the meeting would last.
