Secret deal b/t Thai& Slorc?????

Is there a secret deal between the Thai government and Slorc????

According to Bangkok news sources, an understanding has been established
recently between the Thai authorities and Slorc regarding the fate of
democratic forces in Thailand. It is believed that a verbal agreement was
made between Burmese Deputy Foreign Minister Nyunt Shwe and his Thai
counterparts. Thais agreed to arrest opposition members, who travel and
reside temporarily in Thailand, in return for a better economic deal from
Slorc. 

Recently, members of opposition groups ( including a representative from
ABSDF), who were attending a management seminer offered by an NGO, were
arrested by the Thai police in the northern part of Thailand. In the past,
those kind of seminars were always left undisturbed by Thai authorities.
Opposition believes that there is a link between the arrest and the
unconfirmed deal between Thai and Slorc.
