Burmese Military Delegation on Laos Visit

      RANGOON, June 6 (Reuter) - A high-level Burmese military delegation is
making a goodwill visit to neighbouring Laos, a Lao embassy official said on
Tuesday. 

    The delegation, led by Major-General Kyaw Than, commander of Burma's
Central Command, left Burma on Monday at the invitation of Lao army Chief of
Staff Lieutenant-General Ay Souliyaseng, Burma's state media reported without
elaboration. 

    ``There's no problem to settle on the border of our two countries. The
main purpose of this delegation is to promote goodwill,'' the Lao official
said.
