Subject: Reminder: subscription/unsubscription info
Dear BurmaNet Subscribers,
Just a reminder for subscribing or unsubscribing to the BurmaNet-L
mailing list. If you are reading this message, you are subscribed to
the main mailing list: BurmaNet-L. The list is unmoderated, there are
about 450 subscribers and the normal message traffic is about 5-10
messages per day.
The other mailing list, BurmaNews-L, is a moderated mailing list.
Average message traffic is about one message per day and that is
usually just the BurmaNet News. There are about 50 subscribers.
If you want to switch from one mailing list to the other, first
unsubscribe to the one you are on and then subscribe to the other.
Subscription and unsubscription requests to both groups are automated.
Send all such requests to: majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxx
Note, the list names are case-sensitive - please use all
lower case letters.
To unsubscribe from burmanet-l (same as reg.burma):
1 send a message to: majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxx
2 do not put anything in the subject line
3 in the message, type: unsubscribe burmanet-l
4 (do NOT send this message to strider)
To unsubscribe from burmanews-l:
1 send a message to: majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxx
2 do not put in a subject
3 in the message, type: unsubscribe burmanews-l
4 (do NOT send this message to strider)
To subscribe to moderated, low-traffic mailing list
1 send a message to: majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxx
2 do not put anything in the subject line
3 in the message, type: subscribe burmanews-l
4 do not send this message to strider
