bad:

the hefty host of free burma www experienced a bizarre catastrophic 
simultaneous software and hardware failure just before the holidays. 
 the support staff over at SunSite were able to restore free burma to 
it's state only up to sometime in october.  
fortunately we do have local backups here and should be able to do a 
complete restore in a week or so.  please forgive the stale postings 
till then.


good:

SunSite is getting a fat T3 internet connection installed in a matter 
of weeks, the support staff has been tripled, and they just upgraded 
the host sparc to 4 processors.  (Sun stock has gone up 4 times in the 
last year.  we're in good hands.)  this all means that things will 
be fantastically fast very soon.
