Burma, Cambodia sign cooperation pact

RANGOON, Jan 28 (Reuter) - Burma and Cambodia have signed a cooperation
agreement, official media reported on Sunday.

Burma's Minister for Foreign Affairs Ohn Gyaw and his Cambodian
counterpart Ung Huot, signed an accord to form a Joint Commission for
Bilateral Cooperation, according to the reports.

    No details were given.

Cambodia's First Prime Minister Prince Norodom Ranariddh was also in
Rangoon, and met on Saturday Burmese Prime Minister Senior General Than Shwe.

Cambodia and Burma were due to discuss restoring diplomatic ties at
ambassadorial level during the visit, Ohn Gyaw told Reuters earlier.

The two nations revived diplomatic links last year after a break of more
than two decades.
