Subject: Are any of you listening? Re Swiss Slorc bombers?
Does anyone care or have information or ways and means to help this
hardpressed underequipped but highly motivated force knock these planes
out of the sky? Really, with all the human rights, love peace and
compassion campaigning back home, do you really think it's a match
against brute force. Where are the donations for these arms, or is
everyone waiting for the CIA and special french forces and other state
agencies to do the diplomatic work with the field soliders as has been so
well done in central america and africa, re rwanda, guatemala etc etc.
Stop dreaming and give funds. Are there any laws in the United States and
elsewhere against fundraising for support in the field. Do any of you
have opinons or interests there. In the thirties there was the POPULAR
FRONT IN SPAIN against Franco. and the INTERNATIONAL BRIGADE? Is the Free
Burma movement in the United States waiting until the last ragtag army is
wiped out. REally, with arms so cheap in Asia and arms everywhere, it
seems to me grossly unjust and unexplicable that these people lack the
necessary facililtes to blow these planes out of the sky.
This is not rhetoric. Are there laws against fundraising for this
military force of freedom fighters so they can buy the arms to defend
themselves? And its not throwing pizza's or pepsicans in the air! Its an
open question. Please post this on soc.culture.burma. I have technical
problem there. Thank you
