According to Electronic Telegraph April 10th story, Michael Aris, the
husband of Daw Aung Aung Suu Kyi, did not receive response to an Easter
visa request. Since her release, he has twice visited the dissident
leader. The ET report, filed by Philip Sherwell said that the family was
"shunned". Clearly, it is an outrage, and the ET quoted Daw Aung San Suu
Kyi as saying even China had more freedom for its people than in Burma.
