Daw Aung San Suu Kyi Still Heard

When Daw Aung San Suu Kyi came out of her home to speak to the crowd
which had gathered to listen, someone held up a small tape recorder and
made a tape of what she said.

By ways one can only imagine, that tape, or more likely a copy of a copy,
made its way to the people who have created the Democratic Voice of Burma
radio program in Australia.

>From there, it came via email to me. And now, you can hear it at

in RealAudio format.

The message is in Burmese so the exact meaning may be unavailable to
those who do not know that language. But the message to all the friends
of Burma is clear: freedom will prevail.

And the message to the imposters dressed as generals in Rangoon is also
clear: this voice shall not be stilled.

Peace and Courage,

Wrightson
