                       LABOR NEWS SERVICE:
                 news for labor rights activists
 
In order to get activist-oriented news out to the people who can
use it, Campaign for Labor Rights is initiating a labor news
service.  We are providing, free of charge, articles for
alternative media, activist newsletters and community newspapers. 
Recipients are free to use these articles as provided or to
rewrite them in any form.  We appreciate being credited as the
source but do not require it.  Our purpose in providing these
articles is to increase grassroots involvement in the campaigns
which we support.
 
                      CALL FOR INFORMATION:
 
If your publication would like to receive articles from Campaign
for Labor Rights -- free of charge and with no obligation to
print -- please send us the E-mail address to which we should send
material.  Our E-mail address is clr@xxxxxxxxxxxx  Please put
"labor news service" in the subject line.  NOTE:  We cannot
provide hard copy; this is an E-mail service only.
 
If you would like to suggest a publication which you think might
want to receive material from us, please submit their E-mail
address.  We will not try to track down E-mail addresses when only
a phone number or postal address is provided.  In cases where the
sender's E-mail address does not match the publication's E-mail
address, we will E-mail the publication to verify whether they
would like to receive articles from us.
 
If you have access to lists of E-mail addresses for alternative
media, activist newsletters or community newspapers, please E-mail
them to us.  We will send out an E-mail inquiry asking if those
publications would like to receive material from us.

struggles on behalf of the rights of working people around the
world and here at home.  We are a bridge between local activists
and a number of organizations which initiate the campaigns which
we support.  We especially encourage stronger links between
solidarity and peace & justice groups and organized labor.  For
