It's been eight years since we began our second struggle for
freedom and democracy.  

Throughout all these difficult years, the ABSDF and other
democratic forces and organizations of ethnic nationalities have
enjoined overwhelming support from you. 

It is important to note that your crucial participation in our
stuggle has garnered wider awareness and support in various forms
from the international community and within Burma. 

We believe that we can count on you for your continued support
for a speedy achievement of freedom in the country.
