Subject: Award of the Honorary degree of Doctor to Suu Kyi.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is being awarded with the Honorary degree
of Doctor of Letters by University of Technology, Sydney on 21 February 1997 at
11:00am. In her absence, her husband Dr Michael Aris will be receiving the
award on her behalf.
