BURMA HITS US
Rangoon: Burma's State-run media yesterday lashed out at the United
States for bullying weak countries and for exploiting the democracy
activist Ms Aung San suu Kyi, whom if said had no chance of becoming the
leader of Burma. Commentaries in all offical Burmese newspapers said US
attacks on the human rights records of countries like Burma showed that
Washington was continuing its policy of bullying the weak in pursuit of
"geopolitical hegemonism". - Reuter
