PROGRAM SUMMARY: The NCGUB is an interim government, created in
December 1990 and composed of representatives of the people of
Burma democratically elected in May 1990 and denied the possibility
of taking office by the State Law and Order Restoration Council

Burma, obtain increased diplomatic support and lead the military
junta to transfer power to elected civilians.
