Initial information about Drug seizing at Indo-Burma 
border
 
On 27.9.97, fifteen kilograms of heroin and nine hundred 
thousands Kyats (Burmese currency) were seized by 
intelligent from four male Wa nationalities who are 
residing at ward No (7), Zay Dan quarter of Tamu, a border 
town of Burma adjacent to Moreh, a border town of India.
 
Two of them speak Burmese fluently and other two do not 
speak even a single word, the formers married with local 
women.
 
The intelligence who arrested above culprits are not from 
Tamu and came from Madalay, they followed those 
smugglers along the way. 
 
According to intelligence sources, the purification standard 
of seized heroin are carried from Sino-Burma border and 
reached Indo-Burma border safely after crossing several 
check posts along the way because they are holding passes 
signed by Khin Nyunt, secretary (1) of Slorc, notorious 
Burmese military junta.
 
According to reliable immigration source of Burma, they 
are members of Wa ethnic armed group, already imposed 
cease-fire with Slorc. But that officer refused to mention 
the name of organization.
