(1)		Economic Lectures on ASEAN at Trade Department
		The Ministry of Commerce will organize three economic talks on ASEAN at the
Trade Department on Strand Road. Retired Ambassador and Adviser to the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs U Hla Maung will lecture on 
economic development of Southeast Asian Industrialized countries on 10
October, Chairman of Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry U Khin Maung Yi
on economic aims for the Year 2020 of ASEAN chambers of commerce on 24
October, and Adviser to the Ministry of National Planning and Economic
Development Dr. Khin Ohn Thant on implementation of CEPT Scheme for AFTA in
Myanmar on 7 November. The Ministry organized 45 economic lectures from 17
August 1994 to 22 November 1995 for local entrepreneurs and departmental
personnel.

(A)		Minister for Forestry Lt-Gen Chit Swe received President and CEO of
Korea Long Term Credit Bank Mr Kwang Hyun Kim and Managing Director Mr Chang
Kwon Kim at international Business Centre.

(B)		Minister for Livestock and Fisheries U Aung Thaung received Managing
Director of Pisciculture Magnenat Mr Karl Imhof Wiget and party of
Switzerland at his office.
