  "Gas pipeline row heats up"

Bangkok: The dispute over a Thai_Burma gas pipeline project intensified
on Saturday, two days after the Thai government ordered the project
temporarily suspended. Thailand's state_owned petroleum firm was accused
of a "campaign of duplicity" by a leading newspaper, over its efforts to
prevent delays in the construction of the pipeline. The editorial in the
'Nation' also said the terms of the contract signed was in the country's
interests.  (AFP)
