A Shan replies to Okkar's "It's a s

Hmmm,
Being of somewhat advanced years, and a little behind the times as we
are here in the Shan States, I must say the Na Wa Ta has stooped to new lows in
pursuing the success of "Visit Myanmar Year".

Since it would appear Na Wa Ta has plenty of women to go around,
perhaps Okkar might kindly spare a few to minister to needy patients
admitted to my clinic.
For that matter, since they are now switching tactics with foreign visitors,
they might
consider doing the same vis-a-vis the other national races. Rather than
pushy gun-toting soldiers that rape and rob us, I reckon a couple of
battalions of freshly ripened strumpets might win more friends among we
Shan...

As an aside, though, it would appear from Myanmar Airways most recent
troubles that the offer of free travel with them is most ill-advised.
But then the Burman has always been clever. In big, developed
countries, when there is a plane crash, usually hundreds die. Myanmar
Airways stick to using the F-27, so that when there is a calamity of the
sort that occurred last week in Sandoway, the number of unfortunates
remains in the low double digits.

Regards from the cool, green hills.
