Death of Burmese Author (r)

We are sad to report that one of Burma's most prodigious writers, Mya Than
Tint, passed away at 9.15 this evening (Wednesday 18th Jan).

A recent review by Martin Morland of his book, "On the Road to Mandalay: Tales
of Ordinary People" can be found in the "Book Reviews" section of the
