(1)		National Convention Convening Commission Meets
		The National Convention Convening Commission held a meeting at its meeting
hall on 30 March. Officials of the National Convention Convening Work
Committee and National Convention Convening Management Committee reported on
matters related to the National Convention.
 
(2)		Seminar on Export Market Development Second-Intake Commences
		The opening ceremony of Seminar on Export Market Development Second-Intake,
jointly organised by Ministry of Commerce and Singapore Trade and Development
Board STDB, was held at the Ministry of Commerce on Strand Road on 30 March.
The seminar will continue till 10 April and 25 trainees are attending it. 
 
(3)		Phyu Gets New Digital Auto-Exchange
		Myanma Posts and Telecommunications of the Ministry of 
Communications, Posts and Telegraphs inaugurated a new digital auto-exchange
in Phyu , Bago Division on 30 March. The digital auto-exchange is DRX-1 type
including 500 lines produced by Ericsson of Sweden. IDD service is available.
 
(4)		SPVAWR Holds Coordination Meeting
		The Subcommittee for Protection of Violence Against Women and Rehabilitation
of the Myanmar National Working Committee for Women's Affairs held a
coordination meeting at the Social Welfare Department on 30 March. Vice-
Chairperson of MNWCWA explained matters pertaining to holding a workshop on
women's affairs and those present took part in the discussions.

received Chairman of Myanmar-Daewoo Ltd Mr Gil Yong Um at his office.
(B)		Minister for Industry-1 U Aung Thaung received President of PT Japfa
Comfeed Indonesia Tbk Mr Handojo Santosa and party at his office.
(C)		Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Brig-Gen Maung Maung Thein received
President of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk Mr Handojo Santosa and party at
his office.
