This is emblematic of how in a span of ten years, the democracy movement
overseas became dissipated and fractured despite substantial international
support-financial and otherwise.

Thanks to the likes of newinnaing and those of his ilk, people like
Ko Htun Aung Gyaw are smeared and tarred with gutter-level accusations of
betrayal to the cause- that he, like many others, has dedicated his life to.

He has undergone torture, imprisonment, and personal losses since before '88..
In '88, he went through the trials and tribulations of founding and nurturing
a fledgling ABSDF the pre-eminent rallying point for thousands of young and
brave students, straggling into the jungle- traumatized by bloody massacre
before their very eyes.

Where was newinnaing then?

My surmise is that he was a desk-wallah by day , Patpong-wallah by night
waiting for his big break.

Now newinnaing valiantly defends democracy by pointing his dirty finger at Ko
Htun Aung Gyaw.

How ironical.

Well, a few good years of feasting atop the bones of Burmese students must
have convinced the
unscrupulous that the only way to reach higher.... is to stoop lower than
ever.
