AFP-Thai deputy FM to visit Myanmar (r)

RE: AFP- Thai deputy FM to visit Mayanmar
=========================================

The visit of the Thai deputy FM, Sukhumbhand to Burma on 22 August and
his scheduled meeting with the senior generals in Buarma for exchanging
information without specific issues set as agenda for discussion is
quite deplorable.

But, Sukhumbhand would definitely have the privilage of having to
witness the deployment of troops around Rangoon as the SPDC perpares to
put down any possible unrests and its attempt to prevent parliament
from being convened. There is no limit in the amount of information that
the minister would be able to gather while he is in Rangoon. The Thai
Embassy in Rangoon should be able to provide him with information on the
actual political situation around Rangon and else where in the country.

But, how are the Burmese troops near the Thai boarder doing with their
rice and food supply from Rangoon?. I hope you don't think the SPDC is
planning to send these troops underground or to create chaos in the
country do you? I hope you can find out about that too. See for
yourself, Mr Minsister.

In soliderity with the NLD's movements,

Minn Kyaw Minn
