Daw Suu, ill, ends roadside protest
      Prominent Burmese democracy leader and Nobel laureate Aung San Suu 
Kyi on Monday ended a 13-day roadside protest against the military 
government over her right to travel outside of Rangoon, the capital. Suu 
Kyi, giving into pleas from her political party to take better care of 
her failing health, returned to her home. The party's appeal followed 
increased political pressure against the military rulers when Rangoon 
students on Sunday held the first anti-government protest in two years.
