(Beaking News) More "Anti-SPDC" Pro



More Protests Ahead

Rangoon--(08/25/98). More anti-SPDC protests will be held in this week in
Rangoon, Madalay, and other majors cities across the Burma, an e-mail from
Rangoon informed. The e-mail said all most all people in Rangoon noticed the
protest, and the people  would join with the students in next protests. 

Students, monks, and workers are sponsoring a number anti-SPDC protests. Their
demand is "To Support Parliament" and "Bring Dow the SPDC Regime." They said
they are well prepared at this time to bring down the regime by staging mass
civic disobedience.

The SPDC has arrested 12 students leaders during the Monday protest in the
junction of Hlay Dan, near the Rangoon University, the e-mail reported.

But 100 student leaders escaped from the riot police chasing on Monday.

The freed leaders said they will organize another protest in down town Rangoon
on August 25th to call for to release the arrested 12 students.
