    Myanmar expels 3 foreign journalists



     Three journalists, including a Japanese, were deported from
Myanmar on Tuesday for gathering news in Yangon and giving false
statements about their true profession in their passports, government
newspapers reported Thursday.
     Douglas Earl, 41, a Canadian reporter of the Thaya Thai 
advertising company, Munesuke Yamamoto, 45, a Japanese working for 
the Pacific Press Service and Australian freelance journalist Sophie 
Louise Barrm, 22, were put aboard a Thai Airways flight Tuesday, the 
papers said.
