Dear democratic activists.

We  have asked for a month to french MPs to recognize the legitimacy of
the Representative Comittee of the People Parliament, created on
september. Here is the answer of the Chairman of the Parliament :

I am very preoccupied, like you, by the lack of improvement concerning
respect of human rights and public freedoms in Burma.

You can count on my engagement concerning these questions. I have
officially invited Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to Paris for the coming
celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the universal declaration of
human rights.

connaissance avec attention.

Comme vous, je suis très préoccupé par la situation des libertés
publiques et des droits de l'homme en Birmanie, qui ne connaît aucune
amélioration.

Vous pouvez compter sur mon engagement en ce sens. J'ai d'ailleurs
invité officiellement Madame Aung San Suu Kyi à se rendre à Paris à
l'occasion des prochaines cérémonies marquant le cinquantième
anniversaire de la déclaration universelle des droits de l'homme.

Veuillez croire, Monsieur, à l'assurance de mes sentiments les
meilleurs.
