AI HR Quote of the Day (r)

Hi again,

You may be interested to know that in today's FT (14 December) on p16 (UK
edition anyway) there is a quarter page article by Dominique Moisi
(maybe you know him), deputy director of the Paris-based Institut
Francais des Relations Internationales and editor of Politique Etrangere,
written in a personal capacity, entitled 'Human Rights in Transition: The
British law lord's ruling on General Pinochet demonstrates the progress
towards collective moral responsibility in international affairs'.

By the way, in the issue of 10 December, did you find the two articles on
political repression in China? They were on p4 of the UK edition. I would
expect such items also to be in the international edition.

I generally find the FT to be full of factually accurate information of
use to those interested in human rights.
