Chino-Burma Border, Dec 25

Chinese technician group consisting of about two hundreds and sixty =
crewmembers has arrived recently to build a highway connecting Bamaw; =
Burma, and Yunan State; China. This is an implementation of the =
agreement between Chinese government and the SPDC in last year. This =
project also includes establishment of ports along the Irrewaddy River. =
The Chinese crew entered into Burma via Lyal Jeal border route in Kachin =
State. The information from Chino-Burma border reveals that the crew =
will engage in measuring land survay for Shwe Le-Bamaw highway, ports =
and shipyards along Irrewaddy River, and in Mandalay. China has already =
built a railroad from Kumin, city of Yunan State to Zingon near Bamaw, =
Burma. The famous highway from Shwe Le to Bamaw during the Second World =
War is also replenished. Some geopolitical analysts predict that =
Chinese=92s potentiality to build highways along the Irrawaddy until =
they hit Min Hla from which establishment of a highway to Kyawt Phyu sea =
port via Arakan Mountain Range near India is possible, makes India =
uncomfortable.
