             It is our pleasure to announce that Bay Area Burmese have
arranged a get together party on the evening of January 30, 1999, at a
restaurant near San Francisco International Airport. Everyone is welcome
to meet each other while enjoying delicious Burmese family style dinner
for $15 which will serve at about 7:30 pm followed by more amusement
programs including dances, raffle drawing, etc.
             For those who take seriously about the troubles back home,
we encourage you to join the study group in an earlier meeting at the
same location.  During this meeting we will hear messages from Ko Aung
Saw Oo, an NLD-LA leader as well as a famous student leader in the 70s.
This meeting requires a formal registration starting at 5:30 pm.
