Here is the true story:
During his trip to Japan, he faced with series of demonstrations and 
was afraid to go out for his schedule. Everyday the Burmese people 
in Japn shouted him as ?Butcher Kyaw Win get out, Murderer Kyaw 
Win get out?. Even he visited Tokyo as a Japanese government's guest,
he used back door to enter the place, such as NHK because of afraid to 
see demonstrators or heard the slogans. On 26th of January his car was 
nearly surrounded by demonstrators, just like one they tried to attack Daw 
Suu and U TIn Oo's car with stones and iron bars, it made him sick seriously.
The next day on 27th, he canceled all his trip to Osaka and boarded on the
flight at 7:00pm and back Rangoon via Singapore. It was learned that Rangoon
ordered him to return back Burma immediately. The diet members told us that
they don't like their talks and Foreign Ministry officer said they like to
show him there was a lot of Japanese people dislike the currrent military
junta for repressed their own people.

Dr Win Naing, who tried to lick khin Nyunt's( )expected to get reward. 
But from the very begining of Kyaw Win's visit Tokyo, he was welcomed by
demonstrators instead  of red carpet. So Dr Win Naing will be punish when he
went back to Burma the next time.

The Myanmar delegation led by Brigadier General Kyaw Win 
arrived in Japan on 20th January 1999 at the invitation of 
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Japan.
It is reported that the Myanmar delegation having 
successfully concluded its visit has now proceeded on a 
visit to Singapore as scheduled.

While in Japan, Brigadier General Kyaw Win and delegation 
held frank and friendly talks with high ranking government
officials, members of the Japanese Diet, leading Japanese 
business representatives and others concerned.

It is reported that the Japanese participants in the 
discussions expressed full understanding and conviction now that they had
been apprised of the true situation in Myanmartoday.

The official visit to Japan of the Myanmar delegation was 
indeed highly successful and it may be concluded that this 
visit will contribute much towards strengthening the long 

standing friendly ties between Myanmar and Japan.
