Subject: (WNO) Statement on today at political movement by English



          Wa National Organization (WNO) Statement on today at political
movement.

1.  Wa national Organization's Objective is (1) to eliminate both Burmanism
and dictatorship,(2) to free all nationalities from the oppression, (3) to
fully obtain demoeracy and human rights, (4) to have genuine peace 
and cease-fire all over the country, (5) to form a real federal union States
that base on equal right and self-determination. So we, Wa people have
political Objective and its own belief, to stand firmly and to cintinue
fighting that have mentioned above.

2.  Different kinds of nationalities such as Shans, Palaungs, PaOs, Was,
Lahus and other nationalities live togather in the same State that is today
called Shan State. So, we, Wa National Organization accept and belive that
the main task of all nationalities in Shan State is to be calm and peaceful
and a prosperous Shan State.

3.  For eliminating our common enemy, SLORC/SPDC or a dictatorship is
essential. So all national revolution organizations in Shan State and
Democratic forces must fight aganist our common enemy unitedly by joining
hand in hand.

4.  But to day, some of Shan State Army leaders in Southern Shan State
SSA(s), accuse Wa National Army of involving in making narcotic drugs which
is detested by the people in the world. They issued and sent the incredible
and baseless informations to make other revolution organizations and the
world misunderstanding 
on Wa National Army.

5.  Due to the reason, we, Wa National Organization are willing to solve the
problems peacefully and to 
announce this statement and let all National Revolution Organizations in
Burma and Democratic forces and 
the people in the world to know and analyze on this incredible and baseless
news.
