India on the Wrong Way?

India is known as one of the most stable democracies in Asia but now India
is betraying its stand in its dealings with Burma. India,like ASEAN, blind
of its own mistake,will deal with Burma  based on its needs and profits in
disregard of the rights abuses in Burma.The Foreign Secretary ,Mr. K
Raghunath said India would cooperate with Burma on issues of trade and
priority matters like security and industires.In fact, India wants to use
Burma to link to ASEAN according to a media report.For Burma, it has nothing
to lose but another recognition of a super power state.No matter what
India's policy is, the United States is closely monitoring the political
