It is a good idea if all the activists attend the funeral to support Daw
Suu.  Do you think Daw Suu will attend the funeral?  She will not attend
the funeral.  I am 100% sure.  I also dream about if Daw Suu visit her
husband, (When he was alive) we have many options that you talk about in
your letter.  Even when her husband was alive, she refused to visit him,
why she can visit after his death.  I have no hope that she can come out.  
First, SPDC is not reliable, they lies all the time.  
Second, SPDC strategy is to weaken the NLD.  It is obvious that they want
to destroy NLD once and for all.  If NLD is weak enough they will hold the
new elections.  But they want to be sure that they will win the elections
this time.
Third, if Daw Suu still lives inside Burma, they will not win the
elections.  Kicking out Daw Suu from her country by any means is their
first priority.  NLD is thinking the same way.  NLD is heavily relied on
Daw Suu.  They though without Daw Suu, they will not survive or run the NLD.
My idea is same as you.  I want her to come out.  We need to test the tide.
 Now SPDC officially announced that they would allow her to return back if
she want to visit her husband.  It is a good chance for our cause.  If SPDC
break its promise after she visited her husband funeral, then the world
will know about it.  At the same time she can visit different countries as
a Nobel Peace Laureate.  Above all she can broadcast from BBC, VOA, RFA,
DVB about her ideas and encouragement to 45 million Burmese people, who are
willing to hear her voice and follow her advice.  I believe she has more
chance to organize and encourage the Burmese people from abroad.  Iran
revolution was master minded by Kommeni from Paris.  When Shar was over
thrown, Kommeni flew back to Iran.  Also the Burmese democratic forces are
not united and scattered.  No body can unite them; Daw Suu is the one who
has the ability to do it. 
Most people think Burma needs Daw Suu and she has to stay inside Burma.
But they do not know how to organize the Burmese communities' abroad and do
not how to draw an efficient strategy for Burma.  The problem is when the
SPDC open the door (they might be pretending) the Democratic opposition
closed it.  There is no testing ground for that.  We need to take the risk
because every revolution have their own risk.
