(PTI) Aprill 27  AIZAWL Zoramthanga to meet bangla PM ? Mizoram Chief
Minister Zoramthanga left for Dhaka on Monday to meet Bangladesh Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina and other leaders for talks on Indo-Bangladesh border
trade. Zoramthanga was accompanied by the State Chief Secretary, HV
Lalrimga. The introduction of border trade with neighbouring Bangladesh and
Myanmar was envisaged in an accord signed between the erstwhile underground
Mizo National Front and the Centre on June 30, 1986. While border trade with
Myanmar is expected to commence soon, the Bangladesh government to date had
not given positive response.
