Subject: ABSDO marks 21st June Myaw Ni Gone affair



June 21 Anniversary

On June 21st 1999, Members of All Burma Student Democratic Organization
( Australia) and their supporters gathered outside the Prime minster
John Howard office no. 80 Phillip street , Sydney , marking 11th
anniversay of June 21 Myaw Ni Gone actions  in 1988.

Students quietly wished the return of democracy and human rights in
Burma and handed out a letter to Prime minster of Australia to take
tough actions to  put pressure on military regime in Burma.
Students also demanded the Australian commonwealth and states
governments to recognise Committee Representing Peoples Parliament CRPP
as the highest legitimate authority of Burma and its lawful right to
convene the people's parliament as per 90 elections result.
Studetns demand immediate release of 150 members of parliament-elect
currently under detetion by the SPDC regeime.

Later,  students continue to gather outside Thai consulate at 131
Maquarie street to raise awareness from Thai governemnt.

A responsible  Thai Officer warmly received the letter of ABSDO.
