10th ASEAN NTOs Meeting opens


YANGON, 25 Aug-The opening ceremony of the 10th ASEAN National Tourism
Organizations Meeting was held at the Traders Hotel on Sule Pagoda Road
this morning.

        Minister Maj-Gen Saw Lwin said.


    I wish the 10th ASEAN NTOs Meeting every success and all  the delegates
a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Myanmar.


    After the ceremony Minister Maj-Gen Saw Lwin, Deputy Minister Brig-Gen
Aye Myint Kyu, senior officials from ten countries and officials of ASEAN
Secretariat had photo taken. The meeting continues tomorrow.


Director-General U Khin Maung Latt of Directorate of Hotels and Tourism had
hosted dinner in honour of senior delegates from ten ASEAN nations at
Karaweik Palace.
