 YANGON,  28 Sept - A  ceremony  to open Shwe Than
Lwin Home for the Aged  donated  by Shwe Than Lwin
Company with the  supervision  of Ministry of Home
Affairs,  Ministry of Social  Welfare,  Relief and
Resettlement  and  Department of Human  Settlement
and  Housing   Development   of  the  Ministry  of
Construction  was held at the Home for the Aged on
Kun-at-tha  Mintha Street in Dagon Myothit Seikkan
Township this morning, attended by Secretary- 1 of
the State  Peace and  Development  Council  Lt-Gen
Khin Nyunt.  The Secretary-l formally unveiled the
signboard  of Shwe  Than  Lwin  Home for the Aged.
The  Secretary-l  signed in visitors'  book of the
home  for the  aged.  The  Secretary-l  and  party
performed  rituals of golden and silver showers to
mark the success of the ceremony.  The Secretary-l
and  party  visited  the  home  for the  aged  and
presented    cash   to   the   elderly    persons.
