Minister inspects progress of Internet
communication system

YANGON, 31 Aug Minister for
Communications, Posts and Telegraphs
Brig-Gen Win Tin arrived at Computer
Telecommunications Exchange of the
Myanma Posts and Telecommunications in
Mayangon Township this morning.

The in-charge of the exchange reported
on progress of the Internet
communication and works being carried
out with the aid of chart.  The
minister gave instructions.

Then, the officials demonstrated
Internet communication.Minister
Brig-Gen Win Tin gave instructions on
test for Internet connection of
exchanges in Yangon and installation of
necessary equipment in the exchanges.

Afterwards, officials demonstrated
various kinds of communication
operations with use of VSAT satellite.
The minister gave necessary
instructions.
