multimedia teaching centre

YANGON, 7 Sept-Multimedia  teaching centre of No 1
Basic  Education High School of Pabedan  Township,
Yangon  Division,  was opened this  morning at the
school  with an address  by  Chairman  of  Myanmar
Education Committee Secretary-1 of the State Peace
and Development Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt.

 Secretary-1 Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt formally opened the
signboard   of   the   centre.   Afterwards.   the
Secretary-l and party inspected the  demonstrative
media section, the education  broadcasting Service
centre,  the  computer  and  study  room,  the art
section, the arts room and the vocational  science
room.  Speaking on the occasion,  the  Secretary-l
said.

 Human  resources  which are important in building
the modern and  developed  nation will emerge only
when  computer  science  is  taught  in the  basic
education   schools;   thus  the   government   is
implementing  the education  promotion  programmes
and all should work in harmony  and unison for the
emergence  of  a  modern  and  developed   nation.
