117 members resign from Pyu Township NLD


 YANGON, 10 Sept - A ceremony  to present  letters
 of  resignation  of 1 17 members of Pyu  Township
 National League for Democracy, Bago Division, was
 held at the Sibin hall in the township at 3 pm on
 7  September  1999.  One  hundred  and  seventeen
 members of Pyu Township  NLD, Bago  Division,  of
 their   own   volition,   resigned   by   sending
 resignations   to  the  party   concerned   on  7
 September  1999  as  they  no  longer  wished  to
 participate in party  politics of NLD.  Member of
 Pyu  Township  NLD U Tha  Nyunt, on behalf of the
 party members,  explained  about the  resignation
 from the party and handed  over the  resignations
 to  Chairman  of  Township  Multiparty  Democracy
 General Election Sub-Commission U Aung Khin.
