Preparations discussed for hosting 17th Meeting 
of Health Ministers of South-East Asian Region


 YANGON, 17 Sept - Central  Committee  for hosting
 the 17th  Meeting of Health  Ministers  of member
 nations of South-East Asian Region held its third
 meeting at Medical Research  Department on Ziwaka
 Road  this  morning,   attended  by  Chairman  of
 National  Health  Committee   Patron  of  Central
 Committee  for hosting the 17th Meeting of Health
 Ministers of member  nations of South-East  Asian
 Region   Secretary-l   of  the  State  Peace  and
 Development  Council  Lt-Gen Khin  Nyunt.  First,
 Secretary-l  Lt-Gen  Khin Nyunt said  Myanmar can
 take  pride in  hosting  of the 17th  Meeting  of
 Health  Ministers of member nations of South-East
 Asian Region of WHO.  Myanmar is participating in
 health  care  activities  among the ASEAN  member
 nations,  and  World  Health   Organization   has
 recognized the outstanding work of Myanmar health
 technicians  and   participation  of  Myanmar  in
 health care activities, he said.  The Secretary-1
 attended  to their needs.
