MYANMAR INFORMATION COMMITTEE, YANGON

Secretary-1 of the State Peace and Development
Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt received Chairman U M Zaw
Yaw of Myanmar Christian Council of Churches and
members who called at No 2 Defence Services Guest
House in Yangon on 24 September. The Myanmar Christian
Council of Churches reported to Secretary-1 on the
various accusations made recently by unfabulous
elements and clarified that this is done with the sole
intention to create misunstanding among the various
religions living peacefully together in the country.
They also discussed future plans in the field of religion.
