Secretary-1 attends opening of multimedia
classrooms in Meiktila and Thazi


 YANGON, 28 Sept - Multimedia  teaching centres of
 Basic Education High School No 3 and BEHS No 1 of
 Meiktila  Township  opened  yesterday  morning at
 BEHS  No  1,  attended  by  Chairman  of  Myanmar
 Education  Committee  Secretary-1  of  the  State
 Peace and Development  Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt.
 Secretary-l Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt unveiled the plaque
 marking   the   opening   of   the   centre.  The
 Secretary-l and party inspected the control room,
 projected  media room,  computer  room,  computer
 aided  instruction  room, audio lab, the domestic
 science room, aesthetics  (music) room, art room,
 teaching  aids used by the  school  from  1955 to
 1970 and study room.

   Secretary-1 Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt also unveiled the
 plaque   marking  the   opening  of  the  centre.
 Accompanied   by   officials,   the   Secretary-1
 inspected the computer  aided  instruction  room,
 computer  skills  room,  projected  media-  room,
 audio room, painting room, domestic science room,
 reading  corner  and art room.  The  Secretary-l,
 Command   Commander   and  No  99  LID  Commander
 presented   certificates   of   honour   to   the
 well-wishers.  Speaking  at  the  ceremony,   the
 Secretary-l said.

 In Thazi, the Secretary-l  and party attended the
 opening  of the  multimedia  teaching  centre  of
 Basic Education High School No 1 of the township.
 Secretary-l  Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt also  unveiled the
 plaque  marking the  opening of the  centre.  The
 Secretary-1  and  party  inspected  the  computer
 aided  instruction  room,  computer  skills room,
 audio visual room, audio room,  painting room and
 aesthetics (music) room.  Secretary-l Lt-Gen Khin
 Nyunt  accepted  the  donations.  Speaking on the
 occasion, the Secretary-1  said.  The Secretary-1
 and  party  arrived  back  here  in the  evening.
