**Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs to Myanmar 

I have received questions about Alvaro de Soto's mission to Myanmar. He is
the Assistant Secretary-General
for Political Affairs and I can confirm that at last week's meeting with the
Foreign Minster of Myanmar, the
Secretary-General and the Minister discussed arrangements for this mission,
which is to take place later this
month. That is as specific as I can be on that.
