Burma vs. Conservative ideologies

In Burma, conservative ideologies ( military administration) are
slowing down social changes that technological advances are promoting. They
(military generals & Its handles ) still have an old judgement, and they are
so narrow-minded. Maybe , They are learning the experience and knowledge from
the old books, and they only focus the semblance on history. Focus
personally, not focus reality and generally.

Military leaders always claim opposition groups and activists that
people who live in foreign countries have been influenced by western ideas.
How can they tell that people were influenced by western ideologies? Because,
they live in West or they support Suu Kyi or they are against
military generals?

What about people who are studying and living in different parst of
United States, Ausi, canada, Thailand, Norway, and England; they are
fighting for the sad plight of Burmese people under the guns; for transfer
-techonology to apply their countries; for support their leaders; for support
the radical changes and progressive changes in our political and social
system, for share their global knowledge; and so on .

I totally agree with Proffessor Ye Myint form Nothern Illinois
University, what he mentioned that lightly-educated and previleged people
like military generals, axe' handles (Achon Tha Mar ), and the people who
wear in the green uniform could not understand the values of democracy,
freedom of expression, and how people suffer due to lack of freedoms. It is
true. Just as evil spirits could not stand the chanting of sermons by monks,
they could could not stand, due to the lack of moral courage, seeing or
hearing ideas about democracy, human rights, end of the dictatorship and so
on.
Don't rack brains for the right word. They are a rabble rouser to go to
a wrong direction. Let we focus reality. Can S.P.D.C members reform it
economy and political freedom themselves? If their answer is not based on
sentiment, they will say "no". Of course, it is not easy in practice because
they should not have to reform it themself.
Don't even think to reform it economy without political changes or obtaining
balance of power in Burma. Balance of power is essential condition of
political and economic freedom.

Not only S.P.D.C but also Chinese President Jiang Zemin said at ASEAN meeting
that they would go on defending Burmese way to militarism, despite
international criticism it has faced over human rights and particularly the
military junta's treatment of the pro-democracy opposition. They said the
world is a diverse one and each country has the right to choose its social
system.
