This article by Bertil Lintner, published in the current
Far Eastern Economic REVIEW (dated 18 November)
seems particularly important, but the REVIEW online
only carries a summary (encl).
Could anyone with access to an electronic version, or
the time to key it in from the paper version, post it on the nets.

CULTURAL REVOLUTION: JUNTA
INTENSIFIES CAMPAIGN TO IMPOSE A
UNIFORM CULTURE.
Burma's military government is stepping up efforts to
cement its hold on power. But while overseas political
pundits focus on the year-end reshuffling of ministers

Lintner.
