Subject: > Trust is not the word that can be found in the generals' dictionary.

Maybe that's what the Goldwyns are telling the world. There is no trust
with the generals, just power, advantage, exploitation, arm twisting,
corruption, force (behind the smile), charm (away from the torture
cells), courtesy (more beatings, forced labor, rape, murder), generosity
(stealing of private lands, depopulation, burning of villages).

and the Goldwyns wonder why the international free burma press sees the
deal making goldwyns as betrayal? instead of innocent victims. isnt it
pathetic to see who is kidding who, while all the time the generals hold
the keys... thats really getting down on your kness.

And the Goldwyns turned their back on James Mawdsley, and on all that is
great and worthy of British character. Just think of all the british
prisoners of war, in Burma, under the Japanese, who refused to kiss
their master's hands. Edward Goldwynn, that in essence what he did. Only
this time they are Burmese generals in 1999, instead of Japanese
warlords of 44.
