The State Peace and Development Council is giving
extra impetus in building a peaceful, stable,

goal. All the Tatmadaw men are striving to
implement the 12 objectives, upholding Our Three
Main National Causes-non disintegration of the
Union, non disintegration of national solidarity
and perpetuation of sovereignty. The destructive
elements who could not bear to see these
endeavours are launching perpetration's with
various means such as political, economic, social
and ideological means to destroy sovereignty of
the nation.
All the work committees should render cooperation
to the respective groups which will have to take
the security duties at the Armed Forces Day
celebrations with full political and security
outlook. In building the Tatmadaw to become a
qualified, brilliant and modern armed forces,
advanced methods are being applied in giving
training to the Tatmadaw members to be able to get
abreast with the armed forces of other nations.
Reaching of the goal the modern and powerful
Tatmadaw will still be far away if the morale is
poor however much the equipment is advanced.
All the Tatmadaw members should have the spirit of
shouldering the duties with zeal and gallantry
never surrendering to the enemy even though they
may face difficulties. Secretary-2Lt-Gen Tin Oo
