ANNIVERSARY OF THE <br>
GREEN NOVEMBER 32<br>

30th of November is the day of the tenth anniversary of the Green
November 32.<br>
<br>
The GN-32, under the advisory of National Democratic Front, was formed by
the 32 young ethnic leaders who attended the Political Leadership
Training on 30th of November, 1989, aiming to completely wipe out the
military dictatorship and to gain genuine democracy in our
motherland.<br>
<br>
The main objectives of GN-32 are to:<br>
<br>
1)<x-tab> </x-tab>Restrain and
conserve the environment by using educational functions.<br>
2)<x-tab> </x-tab>Restrain and
conserve the human rights and democratic rights by using the media and
publications.<br>
3)<x-tab> </x-tab>Save guard and
support the troubled people who had being depressed and degraded by the
military regime.<br>
<br>
To get our goals, we cooperate and coordinate with the respective
pro-democracy groups, organizations, and the NGOs for our issues along
the borderline.<br>
<br>
The GN-32 formed the Board of Directors and implemented administrative
structure. Under very severe and hard situation, the GN-32, together with
its over (200) members, march over a decade to gain our goals.<br>
<br>
We are endeavouring to prevent and to educate:<br>
</font><font face="Times New Roman, Times" size=3>-<x-tab> </x-tab></font>Human
rights abuses that had being resulted by the military regime.<br>
<font face="Times New Roman, Times" size=3>-<x-tab> </x-tab></font>The
difficult situation of displaced persons and homeless people.<br>
<font face="Times New Roman, Times" size=3>-<x-tab> </x-tab></font>The
construction of the Salween Dam and gas pipeline, deforestation, unlawful
killing wild life and fishery.<br>
<br>
Our implementation and educational task can not be perfect, but we could
pass through the hardship within a decade.<br>
<br>
We state on the day of the tenth anniversary that our GN-32 will march
ahead with ethnic and pro-democracy groups, international NGOs, and other
organizations to implement for the tasks of human rights issues,
environmental issues and for the future Green Burma.<br>
